The National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) is a massive exhibition center jointly built by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Shanghai Municipal Government. With a total construction area of 1.47 million square meters, it offers a wide range of facilities, including exhibition halls, the NECC Plaza, office buildings, and a high-end brand hotel. This state-of-the-art venue caters to various needs, such as exhibitions, conventions, events, commerce, office work, and accommodation.

Located in the heart of the Hongqiao Central Business District, the center is conveniently close to Hongqiao Airport and Hongqiao Railway Station. It is easily accessible via Shanghai Metro Line 2's East Xujing Station, as well as the city's elevated roads and nearby expressways. The center's design is a collaboration between the East China Architectural Design & Research Institute (ECADI) and the Architectural Design & Research Institute of Tsinghua University. From airports by metro & Maglev:
· Shanghai Hongqiao Airport – NECC Shanghai
Walk 860 meters from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport to Hongqiao Railway Station, take Line 2 to East Xujing station (it takes about 3 minutes), then walk 450 meters to NECC Shanghai
· Shanghai Pudong International Airport – NECC Shanghai
Walk 500 meters from Shanghai Pudong Airport to Pudong International Airport Station, take Metro Line 2 to East Xujing Road station, then walk 450 meters to NECC Shanghai
· Maglev line from Shanghai Pudong Airport – NECC Shanghai
Take Maglev line from airport to Longyang Road. Then take metro Line 2 to East Xujing station
From the city by metro:
· Line 2 to East Xujing station
Line 2 can be transferred with Line 1, Line 3, Line 4, Line 6,Line 7, Line 8, Line 9, Line 10, Line 11, Line 12, Line 13, Line 16
· Line 17 to Zhuguang Road station
Line 17 connects Line 2 and Line 10 at Hongqiao Railway Station

To reach East Xu Jing station take the bus: No. 197, No. 706, No. 865, No. 1511
Qingpu No. 20, Qingpu No. 25, Xujing No.4, Xujing No.5
From the railway satation:
NECC Shanghai distances 23km from Shanghai South Railway station, and 25km from Shanghai Railway station.
From railway stations you can take metro/taxi to go to NECC Shanghai.
· Hongqiao Railway Station – NECC Shanghai
Taxi: about 10 min
Metro Line 2 to East Xujing Station or Line 17 to Zhuguang Road Station
· Shanghai Railway Station – NECC Shanghai
Taxi: about 35 min
Metro Line 3 or Line 4 to Zhongshan Park Station, and then transfer Line 2 to East Xujing Station
· Shanghai South Railway Station – NECC Shanghai
Taxi: about 30 min
Metro Line 3 to Zhongshan Park Station, and then transfer Line 2 to East Xujing Station
By car:
NECC Shanghai is located in Shanghai, China, in the west area of the Hongqiao Business District, and is easy to access by car.
Parking lots: 4,000 on-site car spaces (3,000 car spaces in the exhibition area, and 1,000 spaces in the functional areas).
